Help us build community power in 2010!

For another casino-free year in Philadelphia

It's clear that our community power is having a concrete impact on predatory gambling in our city.

We're not asking you for a donation. We're asking you to appeal to your friends and family to support our — and your — work to keep Philadelphia casino-free.

Ask your friends to donate to Casino-Free Philadelphia and build our community's power!

Invite your friends by Dec. 31 and win a full set of Casino-Free t-shirts and a button!

The person who invites the most donors by Dec. 31 will win a full set of Casino-Free Philadelphia wear: three t-shirts and a Casino-Free button.

These t-shirts represent three of our biggest actions in 2009: the Declaration of Independence from Casinos campaign, Beat the House and the direct action at SugarHouse. By inviting your friends and family to make a contribution, you'll enable us to plan even more actions for next year. Let's make 2010 the year predatory gambling is sent packing from Philadelphia!

We know it's only because of all of us working together that casinos have been held off for this long.

SugarHouse has had to plan for a much smaller casino than it originally wanted, and Foxwoods has had to go begging for investors, showing it may never be financially stable enough to break ground. If these casinos ever open, we expect them to face bankruptcy in short order.

Please invite your friends to support Casino-Free Philadelphia today.

The deadline to invite friends and win the Casino-Free schwag is Dec. 31. We know that's not much time — but what's a contest without a countdown? And remember, it's the number of donors you inspire — not the amount of money. So if your friends only have $10 to give, that's great, and gets us $10 closer to a casino-free city!

Want even more chances to win? Check out our simultaneous contests on Facebook and Twitter!
